STEMFest Hull 2027 Set to Inspire the Next Generation of Innovators at Connexin Live
STEMFest 2027 is officially heading to Connexin Live in Hull, bringing one of the region’s most dynamic and impactful STEM engagement events to an iconic venue. Delivered by RTC North in association with HETA and Connexin, STEMFest aims to ignite curiosity and excitement around science, technology, engineering and maths among young people across the region.
Ahead of the main event, organisations are invited to attend an Industry Engagement Event on 15 April 2026, designed for companies interested in exhibiting or sponsoring STEMFest 2027. This session will provide insights into what STEMFest involves, the opportunities available, and how businesses can play a role in shaping their future workforce.
STEMFest is a free, high‑energy interactive event led by the local STEM Hub, designed to showcase real‑world STEM innovation. Companies across the Humber region with an interest in supporting young talent, promoting STEM careers, or addressing future skills needs are encouraged to get involved.
Around 50 exhibitors will deliver hands‑on activities, giving young people the chance to experience STEM in action and meet the people behind a wide range of STEM careers. This practical engagement helps students understand not only what STEM looks like in the real world, but also the opportunities available to them.
Evaluation from last year’s event highlighted exceptional engagement and long‑term educational impact, including:
- 89% of teachers reporting that STEMFest helped students understand how STEM connects to real‑world jobs.
- Exhibitors describing the event as a highlight of their outreach year, citing meaningful and sustained engagement with pupils.
