The STEMHub is delighted to announce the unwavering support of Cummins Inc. for this year’s STEMFest Yorkshire and Humber event in June.
Scheduled from the 24th to the 26th of June 2025 at the Life Centre in Bradford, this three-day event, organised by the STEM Hub, delivered by RTC North, aims to inspire students in STEM through activities facilitated by industry leaders in STEM sectors. This year's themes include Space and Travel, Technology, Sustainability and Wellbeing, and Manufacturing. Exhibitors within each themed zone will have the opportunity to showcase their companies and highlight various career pathways, aiming to secure the next generation of talent in STEM sectors.
Cummins Inc. is a global power technology leader that designs, manufactures, distributes, and services a broad portfolio of power solutions. STEMFest’s primary objective is to highlight the array of companies within Yorkshire & Humber working in STEM and to raise the aspirations of young people in the region. Cummins will have an exhibition stand at the event, where pupils can learn more about their business and engage in hands-on activities.
Cummins has been a dedicated supporter of numerous STEMFest events in both the North East and Yorkshire & Humber, and they continue to bolster the overarching mission of the STEMHub with this upcoming STEMFest. This commitment follows STEM learning’s recent announcement of their partnership with Cummins to support schools to enhance the lives of young people through STEM education.
John Clark, Executive Director – Research and Engineering at Cummins comments:
“At Cummins, innovation is not just about technology—it's about people. From engineers to apprentices, every curious mind plays a role in shaping a more sustainable future. Through events like STEMFest, we’re not only sparking the imagination of future innovators, we’re investing in the talent that will drive the next generation of solutions.”
Claire Willis, Team Leader at the STEM Hub comments:
“We are delighted that our partnership with Cummins goes from strength to strength each year. Their support both financially and for the STEM Ambassador programme is really appreciated. We strive to make this event available to all pupils and do not charge schools or exhibitors for their participation. We look forward to continuing our partnership with Cummins for many years to come.”
