These 5-day in-person work experience placements include presentations, tours and team building exercises, plus practical experience. Students will work as part of a group with other work experience students, and independently on individual tasks.
If students successfully complete their placement, they’ll achieve an Industrial Cadets Silver Award.
The virtual 5-day programme will be providing budding female Engineers with the opportunity to take part in a week long Virtual Work Experience Programme, with aspirations to engage and inspire the next generation of BAE Systems employees. Participants will see a range of sectors and functions from across the business come together to offer insight and experience to young people aged 14 to 18 years old.
BAE Systems Work Experience Programmes close for application (a minimum of) 8 weeks prior to the advertised start date, or sooner once a sufficient number of applications are received. Therefore, early application is advised.
Students can expect to receive the outcome of their online application approximately 5 weeks before the scheduled placement start date.
